What is a Managed Terminal Server?
A terminal server is a central Windows server on which your employees work over the Internet – as if they were directly at the PC. “Managed” means that we operate the server completely for you: updates, backups, monitoring and support are included.
Can I continue to use my existing software?
Usually yes. Most Windows applications (ERP, accounting, Office and similar tools) run smoothly on a terminal server. We review compatibility with you during onboarding.
How does access work for my employees?
Your employees connect to Windows’ own client via Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). Works on Windows, Mac, iPad and Android.
How quickly can I start?
After placing the order and clarifying the requirements, most systems are ready for operation within 3-5 working days. For complex migrations, we plan a realistic time frame together.
What happens if I need more users?
Scaling at your fingertips: Let us know a new employee is coming and we’ll immediately deploy the resources and RDS CALs you need. You only pay for what you use.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. All data is stored in the ISO 27001-certified Maincubes data center in Frankfurt. Daily backups with individual retention periods, managed firewall and DDoS protection are standard.
