Do you need a different expansion level, additional RAM/storage reserves or support with backup, firewall and migration planning?
Then we plan your Proxmox hosting to suit your environment.
Why Proxmox Hosting?
The right platform for modern virtualization
A stack for VMs and containers
Proxmox VE bundles KVM for virtual machines and LXC for containers in a central web interface. This reduces complexity and speeds up your operations.
High availability without single server risk
With 3 nodes, shared Ceph storage and HA mechanisms, you create a robust platform for critical services, internal applications and productive customer environments.
Open source without lock-in
Proxmox VE is open source. You retain transparency, flexibility and full control over your virtualization strategy – instead of being chained to proprietary licensing models.
Typical usage scenarios
Who should rent a Proxmox server?
IT departments and medium-sized businesses
If you want to virtualize your own business applications, file services, firewalls, ERP systems or test environments, Proxmox Hosting gives you a dedicated and plannable platform.
MSPs, agencies and DevOps teams
Ideal for multi-VM projects, customer environments, internal tools, CI/CD, Docker host VMs, or container workloads that you don’t want to squeeze onto a single root server.
Migrating away from single servers
If your current setup runs on a single host, with a Proxmox cluster you create more availability, better maintenance windows and significantly more reserves for growth.
Workloads with a German hosting focus
For companies that value hosting in Germany, short distances, personal contacts and a clear infrastructure story for data protection and compliance.
This is how we start your Proxmox hosting project
Architecture talk
Together we will clarify whether the production or pro cluster suits your project and how many VMs, containers, storage and reserves you realistically need.
Cluster setup
We set up the dedicated Proxmox cluster in the Frankfurt data center and plan the network, storage, VM layout and desired managed services with you.
Migration & Operations
Existing VMs or new workloads migrate cleanly to the platform. You then operate your environment on a clear, scalable cluster basis.
FAQ
Your questions. Our answers.
What is the difference between Production and Pro Cluster?
The Production Cluster is the economical option for stable productive environments. The Pro Cluster offers significantly more CPU reserves and modern DDR5 platforms for larger virtualization projects, more density per node and faster-growing workloads.
Why does noxtec rely on 3 nodes?
For cluster quorum and hyper-converged Ceph setups, at least three nodes are the clean basis. This is exactly why both offers are based on 3 identical cluster nodes instead of a single host.
Can I run virtual machines and containers on the cluster?
Yes. Proxmox VE manages both KVM-based VMs and LXC containers from the same interface. This is one of the main reasons why the platform is so well suited to mixed workloads.
Is this purely housing or does noxtec also support operations?
Both are possible. You can rent dedicated Proxmox infrastructure or combine additional services such as project support, migration planning and coordinated managed components with us.
Can existing VMs or existing Proxmox inventory be migrated?
Yes. We will check with you what a sensible transition looks like – from individual VMs to existing Proxmox environments. Depending on the initial situation, we plan the migration, downtime window and target architecture in a structured manner.
Where is the data located?
The platform is aimed at hosting in Germany and runs in the Frankfurt data center. This is particularly relevant for companies that consciously rely on German infrastructure and short coordination channels.
